To help you make love for the first time, we point you five rules to keep in mind. While, we cannot guarantee you a complete blissful experience, if you follow our tips, we assure you a satisfying sexual encounter.

Protect Yourself

Playing safe is not optional. For your own good, plan your protection in advance. Don’t just assume that your man will carry condoms. After all, it’s not just his responsibility. Even if you take the pill, it’s important that he layers it up because a pill can prevent pregnancy but it cannot protect you from sexually transmitted diseases. So, do yourself a favor, and buy your pack of condoms now.

Enjoy the Foreplay

For many, first time sex is a tense and nerve-wracking situation. Due to which, most women are anxious to hurry up. However, in order to make your sexual experience more blissful, it’s advised to take time and enjoy the foreplay. Warming up for a while is a great way to get lubricated, which ensures lesser pain and a genuine turn on.

Manage Your Expectations

Don’t keep very high expectations from first time sex. Good sex is a skill, which develops with time. It will improve as you get comfortable with each other’s bodies. So, relax, take a deep breath, and remember the best is yet to come!

Don’t Fake It

First time sex or not, as a thumb rule, don’t fake the climax. If you do so, you will not only cheat your partner but also yourself. Sexual satisfaction is one of the most important building blocks of a relationship and if you end up faking it, in the long run it will affect the health of your relationship. A better alternative is to let him know that you were close and want to get there with him. It’s also a great idea to clue him what makes you feel good and what doesn’t.

It Can Malfunction

Just like women, men get nervous too. Premature ejaculation or erection difficulty is quite common for first timers. When you are high on passion, it can get difficult to hold on. So, if he comes too quickly or loses his erection instantly, don’t make an issue out of it. Just focus on enjoying the foreplay.

Final Word

When you plan to lose your virginity, the most important thing to consider is the reason. Be honest to yourself and ask why you are taking the plunge. If you get the answers like, all my friends have done it or he is pressurizing me, Girl- it’s time to reconsider.

Remember, being a virgin is nothing to be ashamed of. You lose it at 18 or 38, what matters most is, you submit yourself to the one you are emotionally connected to.
